Las Vegas

I had to go the NACS (National Association of Convenience Stores) conference in Las Vegas last week - don't be jealous. It was my first trip to Las Vegas. I can see how if I were there for the NFR with friends and family that I would have a good time. But, I wouldn't say that I had a good time this past week. I did do a lot of walking around the strip. Here are a few things I saw...

Bye Bye!

Mimi & Granddad stopped by to visit last Sunday night after they got back from the Quarter Horse Congress. They were getting ready to leave and Maddy just assumed she was going home to spend the night with them. She grabbed a bag, put some stuff in it and headed for the door and said, "Bye bye!" We had to break it to her that she was staying with us! (Check out her new cowgirl boots!) No separation anxiety for this little girl!

"We've Got Cows!"

We sat down to dinner last night at our kitchen table and I was in the middle of a story when Brandon says, "There is a cow in our back yard".

I said, "what?!"

It turns out it escaped from a neighbor who lives through the woods. Brandon chased it back home.

He got back in the house and was like, "why in the world did you take pictures of a cow?" I said, "For my blog!"
